Easynet is a European advanced network owner with operations in ten European countries. A British Sky Broadcasting company, it has a market capitalisation in excess of £9bn. The merger provides a stable platform for growth and significant investment into Easynet’s network. 

Easynet provides managed networks and hosting services to a diversity of sectors, including public sector, manufacturing, professional services, retail, logistics, construction, leisure, and travel. It has pioneered the Local Loop Unbundling programme in the UK and currently has 800 exchanges unbundled covering 4.4 million homes and 700,000 businesses, with an extensive programme to unbundle 400 more exchanges in 2008.

In the UK, Easynet owns one of the most extensive fibre optic networks at over 4,500km in length, with 36 Points of Presence (PoPs), 27 of which also offer co-location facilities.
